Bronze Wye Pattern Swing Check Valves can they be installed in either the horizontal or vertical direction?
I installed a boiler and installed two check valves in the vertical direction, will they still function? Someone told me they can only be installed horizontally but i think they can be installed either way they are brass wye type sweat on check valves with access bolt on top..
Don’t sweat it , they will work fine.
However technically, by the book, your friend may be right.
They work still work fine..
