Firefighter question…?
I have been with a combination f/t volunteer fire dept for two years. I’m a firefighter/EMT, and am fully certified, also, I’m doing my prerequisits for Paramedic school. I want nothing more than to be full time. It’s what I’ve always wanted, I have a lot of passion for the job, and it doesn’t sound like my Fire Dept is going t hire full time firefighters for a long time. Does anyone know of any full time firefighter positions? anywhere? the closer to Utah the better. Stucture fifefighting only, no wildland or military stuff.
If unable to find anything around your town for FF jobs, go check out different websites such as Firehire.com and Firecareers.com. These are just 2 of many websites that list every state and what jobs are being offered, the salary and requirements. They both cost money but the price is well worth it. I hope this helps. Good luck
