Best running shirt to wick away sweat?
it’s hot and humid all year around here. What is the best shirt (value) to wick away sweat, mainly for running. I heard good reviews for Under Armour heat gear short sleeve, but don’t own one. Is this still the best, or are they any other one’s that are comparable?
Cotton does not wick, it simply gets wet. Wear cotton and you have a shirt that is wet against your skin, we on the outside, and wet in between.
Both Target and Walmart have cheap synthetic shirts that will wick moisture. Eventually they will also get wet inside and out, but synthetic materials take longer to do that and they dry quickly. I am sure the Under Armor has better quality materials and stitching, but I have been wearing my cheapies all year and they are holding up just fine.
