Sure Fire flashlights! Where do you get the balls to charge 130$ for a flashlight?

They’re extremely well, made, sure,
….but 130.00$? I don’t think so.

If all you need is something bright that will fit in 1″rings,
if I were you, I’d examine the off-brands of tactical flashlights and weapon lights.
They’re virtually identical to Surefire.
The first answerer needs to realize that most folks don’t have 500.00 to spend on flashlights. Did he make his wife and kids do without to make these extravagant purchases?
Regardless of what he states, the Surefire lights cost the company less than 20.00$ to make. “Just because they can”
has never been a viable excuse for price gouging. That’s the same reason dope dealers charge anough to milk addicts dry. That’s the reason gas prices will one day soar to 5.00$ and 10.00$ a gallon……I guess he won’t mind the gas companies charging him 130.00$ to fill up his tank…..just because they CAN.
Don’t be suckered in by claims of superiority by a company that buys it’s light sources and switches outsourced like everybody else. Besides the light-source (bulb, LED or array), and the switch, the thing is nothing but an aluminium tube with two caps, a lens, a couple of rubber “o” rings, and a couple of springs.
The real reason they charge so much is that they have so many police and military contracts, and these two types of organizations are famous for overpaying for equiptment.
Before you call me a liar,
…Remember the 600.00$ toilet seat and the 400.00$ hammers?
I’ve examined examples of both of these infamous overexpendatures personally.
Would the fools that approved paying those amounts for those items also approve paying over 130.00$ for a flashlight?
