I am with a volunteer Fire Dept. We are in need new gear that is up to code.any ideas where to get donations?
There are new laws towards firefighters gear…and according to this new law..we are out of date on our turnout gear. This means that we cannot fight the fires like we need to do..we cannot enter a burning structure, we have to fight it from the side lines. Each suit costs 995.00 –this includes hat, coat, pants,gloves, and boots. If anyone knows of an organization that we can asks for donations for this..please let me know…

well you could start by going to the businesses in your area and asking them for donations. also you can have things such as bake sales, a carnival(with donations from local businesses) a charity dinner, things like that can help out a lot.good luck
