Why batteries are only 1.25 volts?
The manufacturer of my claim Rechargeable, so it will work in each unit accepts AA AAA CD I came a dead end with my Accu-Rite Remote rain measured. It requires a 1.5 volt alkaline batteries and do not achieve the level of performance. Any other device: flashlights, Lanterns, remote control temp and humidity languages, accepted and worked with batteries. Thanks.
The chemical reaction in recharagle batteries produced 1.25 volts. The Most devices can handle the lower voltage and the advantage is that the batteries are recharable. In your case, the 1.5 volts per cell for the water required sensor properly.
