How do I get my PVC tubing connections at my pool to stop leaking?
To connect my sand filter system to my above ground pool I used PVC 1.5″ tubing and attached it by using hose clamps. I did not use a glue or sealant in the tubing.
You can buy rubber connectors with a stainless steel band around them that have 2 hose clamps at places like home depot. I sometimes add extra hose clamps. Use the right size and you will not have a leakage problem. the extra clamps really tighten things up.
