My company would not give me the proper ppe and i was injured as a result?
they would not give me a respirator and sent me into a place where one is needed as a result i almost suffocated and now have permanent lung damage that causes me to cough uncontrollably. what types of lawsuits do you think should be filed and what amounts should be asked for.
also it has been seven months and i have had no progress with my illness.

~~If you live in the USA you are not able to sue an employer if they carry WC on their employees. You must go through the WC system where you physical damage will be rated and after being pronounced permanent and stationary (in other words, you can not receive any further treatment which will make you better), they must continue your benefits and medical coverage or make you a settlement offer. If you are not able to work because of this, then you will be eligible for Social Security Disability Insurance as well.
State laws may vary, I just know this is how it works in CA.
