HEADTORCH HELP – for off road running?
Hi
I run Off-road in forest areas so its pitch black at this time of year, I was wondering if anyone can recommend a head torch that lightweight & lights up really well but also that doesn’t cost too much.
I currently have a petzl head e-lite but its not good enough.

Look for 1 Watt LED’s with 3 Light levels.
I use a Garrity that they don’t make anymore. But it has a seperate battery pack that is on the back of your head and a strap that goes across the top of my head. It’s as comfortable as wearing a baseball cap. It also has blinking red lights on the front and back so traffic can see me easier when I’m on the road.
I compared mine to other head lamps friends of mine had on a relay race we did, and mine was much brighter with a much broader illumnation arc.
