dad fell of bike worried?
My dad was riding his bike on a busy street this morning and ran into a stopped car, that had stopped in the middle of the road, after running a red light. The paramedics checked him out and asked if he wanted to go to the hospital. He asked them what they thought and they said he seemed fine. During the fall he was wearing a helmet but still hit his head on the pavement. He said he feels fine now but is questioning if he needs to get scanned.

It is unlikely that he needs a scan because he did not have severe injuries and did not lose consciousness. If he starts developing symptoms within the next few hours, days, or weeks, he needs to go to the emergency room immediate because they would signify a bleed in his brain causing pressure, and this must be corrected immediately.
If he starts experiencing severe headaches, nausea/vomiting, confusion, blurred vision, etc., he needs to be rushed to the emergency room immediately because those are some signs of increased pressure on the brain.
But as I said, he has no obvious severe injury so he can safely be observed while watching for the above symptoms.
