New female sport bike rider soon, I would like custom or semi (unique) gear (clothing). Where do I look?
I’m interested in powder coating my bike a deep purple. I want something that everyone else isn’t wearing. I would like chaps and jackets to match bike color. I prefer chaps because I wear business casual to work (usually pants) and dont want my whole outfit crazy wrinkled due to wearing full pants. Nylon, kevlar and nomex with leather is cool.
J & P Cycles is on-line and carries a full line of leathers for women I got a set for my wife there and recently bought her bike a set of tires there. They carry a full lline of custom parts and clothing and are as competitive as any other place I have dealt with. There are a lot on-line, but this is one I have dealt with personnely. You could also contact Women on Wheels for locations of custom leather shops for females as they are a women’s only riding club. Not Les, but straight. Good Luck in finding what you want.
