how to change a bulb in a 3D maglite?
Unscrew the head-end (the end that the light is emitted from). When you can’t unscrew it anymore, pull it straight away from the body of the flashlight. There is an O-ring that makes is slightly difficult to pull the head off.
The lightbulb is a 2-pin design. Pull the bulb straight out and replace it by pushing the new bulb into the pin sockets.
There is usually a spare bulb in the base. Unscrew the base and take out the spring. The bulb is wrapped in foam under the spring. If the bulb isn’t there, someone has used it.
