How long will a krypton light bulb last?
How much will the life of a 4.8V krypton flashlight bulb be shortened if i power it with a 7.2 volt battery?
You cannot tell. It will be shortened a lot!! Maybe it will last just a minute or two, maybe longer.
Even though the bulb has krypton in it, it still uses a filament, and the filament is the problem.
Is there a way you can introduce some resistance into the circuit?
