I started my PWC for the 1st time of the year today. When the choke is in it revs really high. Why?
When the choke is out it slows down, but smokes. So far i have only started it using the garden hose connection
the normal idle speed out of water is 3000 rpm, if it revs higher than that without the choke applied, it could be starving for fuel, or the throttle cable could be broken at the adjuster, there are all kinds of situations that could cause this
