two steps in the back of the rest of the platoon. i guess after my parent’s divorce mom pretty much “babied” me. one junior drill instructor hated my guts. he told me he would get me dropped from the platoon. well, during second phase, we went to the rifle range. if i remember right, i think at the range if you would get two safety violations you would be dropped. earlier in the week at the firing range, il admit i made a safety violation. but during qual day, i know i was doing everything right and a range safety NCO ran up to me for nothing and said i done another violation. my question is, can a drill instructor make this kind of an “arrangement” in order to get me dropped? well, i was sent back to my barracks to pack my gear in order to get set back, my other junior drill instructor told me that he think the other one arranged this and that he will try to get me back. i always wondered, was there any action the 2nd drill instructor could have take to get me back? just wondering
Unless the Junior D.I. is willing to write a sworn statement, there is no way you can prove this event occured. You sound like a bright kid. If you really want to be a marine, request to see JAG or the IG and file a formal complaint. Or, start slow and ask to see the batallion commander and voice your suspicion. It will take time, but the truth will eventually come out.
P.S. If you are already “out”, file a Congressional complaint through your congressmans office.
