Question about the fire service in the USA from the UK?
The UK press have been running reports about how members of our fireservice face constants attacks whilst doing their very difficult jobs of saving lives and fighting fires.
They face ambushes, bricks bottles being thrown at them equipment being stolen and lots of other horror stories.
Our fire/rescue people lay their lives on the line on a daily bases.
Does the American fire service get the same problems and if so how do you deal with them.
To my knowledge, US firefighters, police or other emergency crews don’t face that on a daily basis. I’m sure there have been isolated instances for whatever reason, but it’s not something that has ever been an issue.
Why are your emergency crews being treated that way, and is it mostly in particular areas or everywhere?
