My pocket bike won’t start?
I just bought this pocket bike in nonrunning condition, Im pretty sure it’s a 4 stroke, 49cc. I got it to turn over, it has spark and fuel but it won’t fire. The engine looks pretty new. The only thing thats not where it should be is a couple of small hoses coming off of the carb. There is one hose that leaked fuel until I moved the tip of it above the tank, it connects to the bottom(in relation to the ground) of the carburetor. The second one connects next to the main fuel supply on the carb. Any advice could be helpful as I am a car guy, so this is a first for me.
The hose you moved to stop the fuel leak is the overflow.You are flooding out because the float needle is stuck open .Pull the carb apart and clean it.
