My neighbours house is a fire hazard. Noone lives there how do I go about getting it sorted?
I have lived in my flat for nearly 2 years and in that time I have never seen my next door neighbour. I live in a four in a block, I’m the upstairs flat with a loft. I’ve been infested with squirrels coming into my loft via my neighbours eaves and put a note through his letter box to request he cover his air vents. On doing so I noticed he had mail piled up to the letter box and black bags at the bottom of the stairs. I have tried to contact him via factors etc who are incredibly unhelpful.
I’m now worried that the squirrels could chew through electrical cables and with the pile of mail I feel this is a massive fire hazard.
How can I get in touch with this man or get his home made secure. Also, if he doesn’t live there, if there is a fire where do I stand insurance wise?
Any help on this matter would be super!
This is pretty strange, is he dead? Ask the landlord what is going on with this guy.
