how do I calculate the quantity of water required for four (4) hours fire fighting? I am provided with the following information: the area of the site is 900m^2, the number of hydrant point is twelve (12), the diameter of one sprinkler is one half (0.5) inch, the start pressure is atmospheric, the target pressure is 150psi.
Your question doesn’t make any sense. You’d have to specify the amount of water required on a per sq meter basis (or equivalent) to extinguish the fire, or alternatively reword your question to calculate how much water the proposed sprinkler system will produce in 4 hours.
What is available and what is required are two different things.
