Water-Based Fire extinguishers?
On what type of fires can a water based fire extinguisher be used? I need 5 of them
My main concern is what falls under water-based.
Water
Foam
Dry chemical (powder)
Carbon dioxide
Vaporising liquid (non-halon clean agents)
Halon
Wet chemical
These are the types of extingushers, Which of these falls under water-based? I assume water and wet-chemical do. I don’t know about the rest

I just need to know out of all types of fire extinguishers listed, what ones are water-based.
Water – based fire extinguishers can be used on what is called Class A fuels. These fuels include wood, paper, furniture etc.. It is easier to say what they do not include: liquid fuels (such as gasoline or cooking oil), combustible metals, or energized electrical equipment. Just about everything else you could think of falls under Class A.
Water – Based extinguishers include Water, Foam, and I’m not sure if this is one of your choices, but there are extinguishers with Antifreeze in them to prevent freezing at cold temperatures, and they are also considered water-based. Wet Chemical does not fall under water based.
