What is this? Giant red tank on wheels…………?
I have what looks like a giant antique fire extinguisher. It is red, And the tank is about 3 feet tall and a foot thick. it has 2 wheels, one on the left and one on the right. It has a chain to be attached to a pully system, And is in working condition I think. It is also full. I have never nor will I ever spray any out but you can hit it and feel the contents kinda swish. It has a hose and spray thingy also.
What is it? Or can anyone direct me where to ask? For something reasons the yahoo thing thinks this question should go in home and garden. I wanted the antique section but there isnt one. So sorry if this is the wrong areaty
No it is not unbalanced, And I dont think they painted intecticide sprayers bright red. But maybe.
It is an antique, It has been in the same spot for over 30 years.
Yes it is a fire extinguisher! I drive a school bus and in our shop we had on. It was just as you described, I never new what was in it. It laid down on two legs, and had 2 wheels (kinda resembled a dolly). And yes it was old. You might check out whats in it contact a place where they refill fire extinguishers they can tell you what chemical it has in it.
