Is clean up after using a fire extinguisher enough?
Last night we had a grease fire and I used the fire extinguisher to put it out. It’s and ABC extinguisher and the dust got inside of the stove and throughout the underside of the burners on the over. Today we called my apartment’s office and they just said to clean it up and everything would be fine. Based on what I have read online, I’m worried about wiping it down being enough to make cooking safe. Will soap and water be enough, or should I demand a new oven? If it is the later, how should I go about it?
My main question is: is the oven/stove safe to use?
