What are your family’s Christmas traditions?
I love hearing other family’s traditions…
Mine:
One Christmas Eve, we always get one present. That one present is ALWAYS pajamas (so we look cute the next morning for the multiple cameras around the room). I am 17 and still am going to put cookies and milk out for Santa, old habits die hard =)
On Christmas Day, we eat breakfast. It is always pigs in a blanket, although most of the time I am too excited to eat… Then we open our stockings, and “santa” gifts.
Then we go youngest to oldest and open presents one at a time. We always burn the Christmas wrapping in the fireplace, which makes the fire turn colors, I love it.
Then we get dressed and head to our other family’s, where we snack for a couple hours, listen to Christmas music, and then open presents again youngest to oldest and one at a time.
The next day we almost always go shopping and hit the after christmas sales with our gift cards. =)
I <3 Christmas time... ha ha.
-We always get a a real tree from the same place.
-Me and my sister always decorate it.
-I always put on a certain decoration that I loved when I was little.
-My parents don’t put any of the things they bought for us under the tree until Christmas Eve when we’re asleep.
-My parents always do a “from Santa” gift even though none of us believe in Santa anymore ![]()
-We always write a note to “Santa” along with the cookies and milk.
-We always open our stockings while my parents are waking up and getting coffee and such.
-For as long as I can remember, we have eaten these amazing croissants for breakfast on Christmas morning after opening all the presents.
-OH and me and my sister watch hella christmas movies and tv shows- Miracle on 34th Street, Friends Xmas episodes, Charlie Brown, etc.
I’m excited too
I’ve made my computer all Xmas and winter-y
