There’s a bump near where my wisdom teeth were?
I had my wisdom teeth out a month and a half ago.
Beside one of the “holes” on the bottom where a tooth used to be, there’s a small bump. I can’t see it with a flashlight, but I can feel it with my finger.
It doesn’t hurt. It’s probably about 1/8 inch across. Seems to be half on the gum, half on the jawbone.
Should I be worried? Also, should I phone the oral surgeon or my normal dentist?
It might have nothing to do with my wisdom teeth. I also didn’t brush or floss very well back there for a while because I was afraid to get to close to the extraction site.
nothing to worry.its the healed soft tissue around the bone.wont trouble you and will decrease slowly over a period of time.
