Emt Gift Ideas

stethoscope choices.anybody who has an opinion: for x-mas i asked for a good stethoscope?

and i would love to know out of these two options which everyone prefers or would recommend- or if there is anything you recommend in the same price range that would be amazing. thanks for your input. (also if you could give me reasonings if you have good ones)

(these are the two links my mother sent me- she will be purchasing the gift- and she wants to get what i want but ive never had anything more than the Walmart $15 kind or whatever is on the truck- EMT/Paramedic/Firefighter is the field I will be using this for- so keep in mind outside noises will be at maximum interference and I will be using it for the main idea of listening to lung sounds and occasionally cardio if the situation arises)

thank you so much for your input.
price range i guess would be anything under: $150

The stethoscopes you’re looking at are a little more than you’ll need as an EMT/paramedic. Consider the cost of the stethoscope and the likelihood that it will be damaged or stolen in the field you’re going in to.

I use the Littmann Lightweight II SE for blood pressure, lung sounds and heart sounds and I absolutely love it. It perfectly fits my needs, and it’s likely that it will fit yours as well. Everyone else in my EMT class kept trying to borrow it from me.

It usually costs anywhere from $45-60, depending on where you get it.
