Any EMS folks, what type of electronic trip report software do you use ? Likes and dislikes would be great.?
emscharts.com. It is a terrible program. A pen and piece of paper with boxes to check off, and blank space for a narrative works 100 times better. There are too many options in some places and too few in others. The drop down menus don’t allow you to say what you want. For example someone can’t have “labored breathing” anymore. They have about 4 different words that kind of get at the idea of labored breathing, but none quite fit.
I know people want to get hi-tech and doing things on the computer makes reccord keeping easier, but all the medics and EMTs who work at your service are (from the sound of your question) used to doing PCRs the old school way. Changing how they do PCRs will be hell on whoever has to train them.
