How good are Dasco or DascoPro tools?
There isn’t much information on the net on these tools. They are made in the USA but I have no experience with them. Where do they rank compared to other Brands and what market are they targeting? The contractors or consumer grades?
Dasco Pro Inc., Rockford, Il, business 43 years but not in Rockford. They have only been in Rockford, Il about 8 years or so and specialize in Chinese made injector moulders and tooling for the tool and die industry. Their hand tools are a cheaper line, less than Craftsman and some Sears stores sell their stuff. Not much info on their power tools. I know they don’t have the capabilities there to forge as I used to work in that plant for many years so I suspect they import the forgings from ?? China and finish them here in Rockford. My hand tools are Craftsman because of the lifetime warranty, get worn and they replace for free. My preference for power tools is DeWalt because they are dependable and rugged. I wouldn’t even look at Dasco. Cheaper isn’t better.
