what punishment would you get if a kid throws a brick through your window?
i want to press charges on this stupid kid whos a year younger than me. he called my friend an emo at school so i pushed him into a wall and my other friend threatend him.
( i got suspended)
the next day him and his little friend threw a brick at my bestfriends house when i was over. smashing their window) we dont have proof it was him but we saw them running down the street. his 15 if we press charges what would happen to this kid ?
Probably nothing if, as you said, you can’t prove it. You’re friend could file a police report, but it’s pretty much your word against his, and since you were suspended because of an interaction with him, you might not be considered the world’s most unbiased eye-witness by the police.
My best advice it to let this go. Being called emo is not the end of the world. You and your friend escalated the conflict by pushing and threatening the name-caller. Then he he escalated it by breaking your friend’s window. How long to you want to keep this going? Until somebody gets hurt badly?
Bottom line: you don;t have proof, so let it go, and try to avoid this name-calling jerk. Don’t talk to him or about it. Pretend he doesn’t exist and lead an awesome life. F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote that “the best revenge is living well.”
