What is specifically paid for when HCPCS code A0322 is billed?
I was wondering if the billing of this code (BLS transport by an ambulance) was supposed to cover solely the cost of the transport or if there is / was something in the definition at any time that said it was for the ride in full, including upkeep of equipment (vehicle maintenance on the ambulance, etc.)
Do you have a HCPCS book that gives the description? If not, I suggest you get one to insure proper billing.
